2nd grade student performs very low academically, low self-esteem and is afraid to fail or get anything wrong. Hysterically cries when she isn't done first or if it it is not 100% correct.

I strongly recommend that you read a book called the Behavior Code. It has changed everything I do behaviorally as a special educator. Best of luck!
